The price was comparable to Carnival. The ship is very nice but the public spaces for shows and entertainment are too small for the number of people onboard. The activities like the rock wall and miniature golf are nice. The central open area for shopping and purchased food is nice and changes the feel of the ship. There is a good range of prices available.
The staff/crew is excellent. they are friendly and helpful and do their jobs well. The stateroom attendant was excellent as was the dining room staff. I never had any bad service or questionable service, they answered questions, smiled, did great work, and are everywhere doing constant maintenance. The condition and cleanliness are very well kept onboard.
Onboard entertainment is lacking, there is little to do. There are a lot of paid things but very little just to do or entertainment otherwise. The main shows are good but there aren't many and they fill up early. If you are not early, you will not be able to participate in anything. The ship is quiet and great if you have your own entertainment or like to drink, swim, read, sit, or shop. I wanted to relax and get away so it worked but I missed the little things Princess had like the classical violinist or piano shows in common areas, and the regular shows a couple times every day. Plan to spend money or have your own entertainment.
I liked my room. I choose an interior room on purpose and would price or no. The showers are small.
I live a couple hours away but there is quite a bit for guests to do here. Don't plan for beach or swimming, the water sucks but the other entertainment is good.
Boring pier, nothing in walking distance. Princes has a better pier with things to do. For Royal Carribean - take an excursion.
Nice people, decent place. It was raining. there is mostly shopping if you don't do an excursion but you can rent a vehicle.
