Our first experience of Aqua class was good. Select dining was fully booked and we like to choose our own time, so we booked Aqua class. We loved being in a smaller restaurant and the staff were great.
However, the food was a bit lacking in quality a couple of times (we were offered to choose something else but on those days the choice was not good. There were too many “shredded meat dishes” and I wouldn’t expect beef short rib to be shredded and put in huge pasta cases. A quarter size of that portion of whole short ribs would have been much better. It should always be Quality>Quantity. We liked the intimacy of Blu.
5 of our 10 dinners were in Speciality Restaurants, 3 in Murano (our favourite) and one each in Qsine and Tuscan Grille. The quality and service in those restaurants were all very good – hence our frequency to visit. Celebrity could avoid waste by giving an option for smaller portions in portions in Qsine (often too large for 2 sharing) and in Tuscan the steaks were too big for me (need a smaller portion option). We also took one of the “mixed” speciality lunch options (nothing better than a long/quality lunch on a sea day!
Kept meticulously by Rishi. We try to keep our things tidy and orderly bearing in mind every attendant is looking after 12 staterooms twice a day.
