We chose this cruise because of the destination. We boarded the ship in Venice and overall check-in was very good. Our outside cabin was located on deck 2, right above the exit....You can imagine the noise we had to put up with. There were only 2 sea days, which means that we heard the noise 9 mornings out of 11. Even if we wanted to sleep in on some mornings, we could'nt.
We were at the second seating in the main dining room. Food was OK but not great. We are used to great food on Celebrity. I had to return some plates because they were too salty which has never happened on Celebrity.
Overall the ship still looks ok but needs a bit of a face lift. The cabins are "tired". In need of new furniture and bedding.
Very noisy (above the gangplank) and very small.
Spent a couple of days before the cruise. Always a great city.
Did the mosaic trail. Very beautiful and worth every step. Then had a wonderful lunch at Gladiatore Pizzeria.
Nice little town with great shops. Did not really appreciate all the abandoned cats. Thank god they are being fed by one of the shop owners.
Went to the Myda Cooking school. We had such a great time with a wonderful group of people. I definitely recommend the Myda Cooking school.
Went shopping for some nice Mallorca pearls and had a fantastic lunch at Marc Fosh restaurant.
Needed the rest that day so we just went to the beach. It was great and relaxing.
We loved Valencia. Walked around for a few hours and went for a seafood paella and Sangria at Casa Roberto. Really worth the walk.
