We wanted to revisit Ravenna and like the Artist Loft when Graham Denison is Artist in residence. The travel arrangements were not as we expected and at disembarkation in Nice we had a big problem over the battery for my mobility scooter, although it was approved by British Airways. They were ok in the end but it meant we had no time in the lounge relaxing. This is the second time we have had a problem with the transfers and we are not happy about it, Our disabled cabin was fine and the staff are all excellent. The restaurants are good and we particularly like Jacques.
Be aware that although we booked our restaurants before we left UK. They professed to have no record of the bookkng once we were on the ship.
The ports in the Med. now are so congested and there were insufficient shuttle buses and none that were easy access which meant I mostly stayed on board.
The tv programmes are not very good. The list of films is dire. The menu in the Grand Dining Room is repeated every cruise. The ship is very smooth sailing and quiet.
We were on Marina earlier in the year and preferred that ship.
Comfortable cabin, Very poor lighting.
