Well organised enjoyable cruise. Ship lovely, interior well maintained, clean and attractive. Cabin 9655 interior, good location not too far from lifts, and main restaurants. Although nearer the rear of the ship and on deck 9 it was a good position when we experienced rough weather. Quality of the food was great, enjoyed the variety in the windjammer buffet restaurant, the main restaurant had good service, but we found that the food became a little boring after eating there for a few nights. Shows and entertainment were excellent, mainly appealing to the British sense of humour which suited us fine! Look out for the free activity sessions... flow rider, ice-skating, climbing wall as private sessions are expensive. The enrichment lectures were brilliant, really enjoyed the forensic CSI talk. Service excellent, but remember that you do not need to pay gratuities in advance; get the automatic gratuity charge removed, and reward the good service at the end of the cruise... like it should be! You can also survive the cruise without a drinks package (although individual alcoholic drinks are very expensive) we found tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, squash and water freely available from the windjammer restaurant and café promenade, the main restaurant is also happy to provide iced water.
