i needed a short dcruise to be able to go to a family wedding, this was the winner. i did the full 37 day cruise last year and didn't mind the 22 day shorter segment.i am a loyal mariner and find a lack of respect by HAL for these people. for the past few years there has never been a mariners cocktail party to meet the crew and captain.i can buy my own drink it's just the thought that they care about loyal mariners.over the years the food in the didning room has become less fine, still okay but too many inexpensive selections on the one page menu. in the past it was 2 pages.the ship is being redone after the winter season, some cabins and public area are showing their age but not terrible looking .the shore excursions were plentiful and expensive for what was received.the description is better than the reality on many of the tours.

the entertainment was adequate but not great each night. the dancers and singers, had their first show after almost 9 days.the ship is a perfect size large but not that big as compared to many others.the cabins are adequate and have good clostes and storage space.
