Sail Date: Oct 2009

We sailed the 10/24 repositioning cruise out of New York to San Juan. Living in New Jersey, the embarking was very easy. No flights to worry about, just a cab. The port of Brooklyn is fantastic. They really have the system down very well. We were on the ship within 30 minutes.

Our Jr.suite cabin was ready when we arrived, so we went there and dropped our carry-ons, then proceeded to the buffet for lunch. We had no issues with the buffet, and found a seat easily enough. We continued to eat breakfast every morning in the buffet. The food was good, not fantastic, but certainly good. I'll make brief observation of the ship.

Cabin: Jr. Suite was more than expected. Plenty of space, storage, and we never felt confined. Balcony was small, but served it's purpose. Our cabin steward was hit or miss. Sometimes we got ice, sometimes not. It did appear that the cabin was not cleaned daily, some-days the bathroom was untouched.
