we chose this cruise as we wanted to expirience the canadian ports. We loved all the ports we made it to. we had been to a couple before so we just did our own thing but it was still a blast. wish we had more time in some of the ports as we did some tours and felt a bit rushed through the area, but i guess that means we will just have to go back again!
our waiter in the early mdr was awful and we said so in our survey. he seemed as if he didnt want to be there, spilled water on us several times and huffed if we asked for something, cheese on the pasta etc. we ran into a couple of staff like that, and we had seen some reviews where people were saying the staff were hit and miss and had attitudes. This may be because of management but i would say it has not changed. There were a couple oustanding workers whom we recognized and then the rest just seemed to be doing bare minuimum to do their job which is not the princess expeirience i am used to. i said all of this in my survey to princess as well.
overall we didnt let the staff that sucked ruin our cruise, but was it as great as it could have been, no. but we still had a blast and loved our trip.
Cabin Review
we loved this cabin. it was a sideways inside and were afraid of noise from the lido deck above. we heard none from above, etiher cause of the weather or becuase it is just that good that they insulated it. We did however hear some noise from the crew area behind/beside our room but we knew this would be there and only once did it bother sleeping but it was the night we styaved overnight and were probably still bringing luggage on board. other than that while they did start the noise a little early we were already up so it didnt bother us or last all that long. BUT LOVED all the space. so much space it was fabulous and will book this cabin again.

Saint John (New Brunswick)
been here before, had nothing planned. ended up needing to get my nails done so found a salon that got me in and out and then we wandered the market and went back to the ship
Boston
we took the ship shuttle to the quincy market area and then walked to the north end and had some fabulous italian food and then wandered around the market some more having our own little foodie tour.
Halifax
we walked to the public gardens and wandered around and then up to the citadel. it was a great day and we also stopped at Tim Hortons for breakfast..YUM!
