This cruise was recommended by a friend and it was going to 3 of the 4 ports we had never visited. The ship is new and clean, however coming off RCCL Allure of the Seas last year, the Escape was underwhelming. I think the Manahattan Dining Room is the most glamorous on this ship. The food, however, is much better on the Escape than on the Allure. We did not have a bad meal and the portions were plentiful. We had the free drink package but we were charged upfront for tips which worked out to about 8 drinks a day each. We did not care for the drink mixes used so mostly stuck to drinks made from scratch or beer. H2O adult only sun deck was very nice away from all the kids but the area is not big enough and not enough shade. We took snorkeling excursions in Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel. All 3 were fun especially the Jolly Roger Catamaran in Roatan. NCL did a beautiful job with Harvest Caye but they need more to do there. Plenty of seating on the island which was nice for a change. We had a lot of fun aside from one disappointment on this cruise. We have cruised a lot and truly enjoy dining with other people. We enjoy meeting people and learning about where they are from. Unfortunately, NCL does not encourage this. All the tables are small. Other cruises have large tables for 8 so you have a chance to meet a lot of people. This maybe the reason I might book a different cruise line next time.

Cabin B1

Very clean and good use of space. Bathrooms are a good size. Thin walls. Could hear people on all sides.
