My husband always wanted to go to Sicily and I always wanted to go to Sardinia, and this was perfect way to see both without having to plan it ourselves. The service on the ship was fantastic, the staff was exceptional. The only negatives were the pool was ridiculously small, because the weather was beautiful and after a day exploring, it was nice to come back to the ship and sit by the pool. Also the evening entertainment was fair, I expected a much better quality than what was offered. The exception was a wonderful piano bar singer and piano player.

I also felt the ship's decor was dated and expected it to be much more modern and sleeker.

As far as ports, we would have liked to spend more time in Siracusa, and less time in Livorno. It was too much time spent there, having been to Florence several times in the past.

Veranda Suite

Very nice, spotless service.

Port Reviews

Florence (Livorno)

the price of doing a day trip to Florence was ridiculous with the ship, so we found another couple to share a taxi and did our own trip to Florence for 4 hours and then he offered to take us to Pisa as part of the deal for a fraction of the price!
