I took it because it stopped at 3 ports in Iceland--that part was great. However, I booked an OCEAN VIEW CABIN. It did NOT have a view of the ocean. Although I complained, the problem was not resolved to my satisfaction. The activities aboard were very few. Hundreds of people jammed into a room to play Trivia because there was nothing else to do, and they had to get another room, so then both rooms were jammed full of people. Virtually everyone came down with a cold/cough. The cabin was pretty shabby. The person in charge of the front desk would smile and shake hands and do nothing until I agitated for days, and then I was offered a partially obstructed view cabin that was under the gym and one could hear a constant BOOM BOOM BOOM from the treadmill (thanks a lot!). At the very end of the cruise I was offered a large unattractive cabin at the front of the ship (I booked mid-ship deliberately), and of course why would I dislodge all my spread-out belongings for a couple of days? Thanks a lot!
NO VIEW OF THE OCEAN. There was a lifeboat or tender outside the window, entirely blocking the view to the point where the cabin was always DARK and I had to turn on the light to see. The carpet was badly stained. The shower drain didn't work properly (I had to call maintenance). The bottom of the chair was falling down. The mattress was lumpy.
There was no warning that to see the falls one had to climb up a considerable distance on uneven rocks with no handrails--a very treacherous route that posed a huge possibility of serious injury or death if one fell
