We chose this cruise because the itinerary was mostly new to us and we wanted to try Holland America's newest ship, Koningsdam. We were not disappointed. All the ports were great and we were docked right in the centre of town for most and the couple of ports that weren't had a shuttle to the centre of town. We couldn't fault Koningsdam. One the best ships for dining we've had and we've been on 44 cruises. Ate most nights in the dining room and couldn't fault any of the meals. The bouillabaise at Sel de Mer was great. The staff were great and the ship was always spic and span wherever we went. Our cabin was always perfect. We've had better entertainment on other ships but as the itinerary was port intensive it didn't worry us as we were busy exploring during the day. The shows with the singers and dancers were great and we could always get a seat at the show. We hope it won't be too long before we cruise on Koningsdam again.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VH

Had a view of a life boat but could still see plenty of scenery around it. It was a lot cheaper than full view balcony rooms so we didn't mind the obstruction. We could still see most things.
