Hi all, Just returned from a fabulous cruise!! A little information before I start. I live in Miami, and love to travel! Always looking for a way to do that. Found this cruise on the Pearl 3 days before the ship set sail from Miami. My husband and I have gone on more than a dozen cruises. I was a little worried about this one,as it seemed there were more negative reviews than positive, but I have always enjoyed cruising on NCL and decided to jump right into this cruise.

Day one Checking onto the ship was a breeze. We got to the port at approx. 11:30am and although there were some lines, they moved quickly and before you know it we were on the ship! Once on the ship we were greeted with champagne or orange juice. The crew seemed generally happy to receive us! We had to wait until 2pm to go to the cabin. Not a problem, we just went about familiarizing ourselves with the ship.

The Pearl is beautiful!! The Bliss lounge was really different. It had 2 bowling alleys (you had to pay a small fee to bowl) and the furniture in the area was over the top! Velvet poster beds and really comfortable lounge areas. The pool area were nice although I would have liked the adult pool to be more separated from the kids pool. If you have children you will love that area including the slide. There is also a climbing wall. The Spinnaker lounge on Deck 13 was very mod and comfortable. We made our way to the desk on Deck 7 and registered for the Mystery Dinner. I had read that we had better do that first, as it sells ($20.00 cover charge apiece) More about that later.
