It was recommended by 3D Cruise and Travel in Round Rock, TX. We loved the excursions, the food, the atmosphere, the people, the staff, the wonderful accommodations. We learned a great deal of history from the knowledgeable local guides. Dining was especially because of the interesting food and the stellar wait staff. On board entertainment was great fun when we could stay up late enough for it. Avalon took great care of us from the airport to the hotel and back. There were plenty of English speakers everywhere we went. It is a totally different experience from open sea cruising, fostering intimacy and new friendships. The locals were very friendly and encouraged us to try new things. Our cabin was always clean and provided a haven when we were exhausted from walking the cobbled streets. It was lovely lying in bed watching the scenery go by. When can we go again?
