Our first ever cruise was amazing on this amazing ship. A 50th birthday sail away celebration. We did Segway in Rome, Florence, Marseille and Majorca. This enabled us to quickly see all the sights in each port and get photos’s of all the major attraction we couldn’t have managed on foot. The ship’s excursion to Rome was over 200 pounds so we walked to the train station 20 mins, 10 Euro and did the Segway in Rome. We did pay for the Monaco and Eze tour from ship at 75 pounds which was worth it. You have to get a tender boat to and from ship so booking your own excursion could be risky. The tour to see Eze and the amazing hilltop village is a must see and got fantastic pictures. We also did the Viator tour to Florence and Pisa which was just a coach trip with time at each place 3 hours in Florence. The coach was parked behind cruise shuttle bus in Livorno so was well arranged.

On board we were blown away by the amazing hot buffet and I mean above temperature safe food. I think my first ever. Lots to do on board. We did Cirque Dreams dinner show, a highlight, Pricilla Queen of the Desert in the Theatre again amazing. One other highlight was the piano player in the main atrium bar level 7. So relaxing and great piano playing and singing. Such a nice guy too. So sad to disembark this amazing holiday. The Service from the around the world staff was also amazing, so friendly. Oh and the food on board in the restaurants was great. Even had tepanyaki. Our balcony cabin was amazing and good value. Graham and Marc. Scotland

Marseille

Took shuttle bus to city, 15 mins. Done Segway tour.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Shuttle bus, walked to train station, 10 Euros’ to Rome for a Segway tour and return at 15.20 train. Please be aware. Train journey to Rome was 45 mins but return was 1 hour 25. Several people on made it back to ship by speeding taxis from station before all aboard.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Shuttle bus to city, segway tour although could do walking just would not see so much.
