This was our second cruise on the Constellation and as with our first cruise - it did not disappoint.
We selected this cruise for its itinerary (as all of the stops were new with the exception of Livorno - but we did something different than the first time we were there), the price, and because it is Celebrity!
Embarkation was as smooth as silk. We were a little early (1030am) but were allowed to board and it only took 10 minutes.
Standard cabin with a large porthole to view the outside. The location was great - as there was no noise from elevators, people talking, public areas, or theatre. I was a little worried as it was far forward - but there was very, very little rocking from the waves. I am quite happy that we saved a ton of cash with this room and it worked out perfectly!
Great city - we did not spend much time here (as we have been in Barcelona before). Basically walked Las Ramblas.
This port was a big (positive) surprise for us. We did a free walking tour, followed by a hike up to Santa Barbara Castle, then a walk along the beach. Next time we will spend the day at the beach as the sand and water was perfect!
We had originally booked a free tour of Cadiz, but upon arrival noticed how small the city was and walked it ourselves. The Caleta beach was a bit of a disappointment, but the walk along the seafront was amazing. A nice place to spend a couple of hours.
This was another pleasantly surprising port. An easy walk from the ship, we went for a swim at the beautiful beach. The sand and water were incredible. Afterwards we walked through town to get a feel and back to the ship. Was a great relaxing end to a fabulous cruise.
