This is a BIG ship & if you are traveling w/extended family, this may be just what you're looking for. After entering the terminal & just before entering the ship, there was a kiosk selling lanyards, along w/bottle water & sodas!! I could've bought water & sodas right there instead of buying a soda package & a case of water.

Be mindful you need reservations for just about EVERYTHING on the ship, especially dining. It was just the two of us, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, so we were looking for more intimate things to do and/or things for us older folks besides BINGO & since we don't gamble, we only walked thru the casino. Food was good, especially in the Solarium Bistro. Enjoyed the entertainment, disappointed that the Aqua show was only offered the last day due to entertainers being sick, so didn't get to see it. Enjoyed the Karaoke contest & the 70's Disco night. Our itinerary changed due to the hurricanes, we visited ports I would not chosen. Our state room attendant was great, though we had a room w/balcony, it was kinda of cramped, only a couch & just regular chairs on the balcony, not recliners or foot rests. We just looked around town at Nassau & did the water park @ Cozumel - we'd already been there before; then again toured the town @ Costa Maya. My only major complaint was disembarkation; we had a bag lost, the bag was a last minute decision to check after we had packed & my hubby's meds were in the bag. When they called to let us know the bag was found, they asked if any liquids were in it & there was a couple bottles of water in it & they said they would have to remove them. Gave a credit card # for shipping; when the bag arrived the meds were missing. I called the port, no answer, called corporate & told "ROSE" about the missing expensive meds & she said nobody w/RC took them, my guess was as good as her's as to where the missing meds were & I could file a police report. Needless to say, we were NOT happy w/how this was just waved off, someone stole prescription medication out of our bag & that's a crime. We are thinking about looking into filing a report w/the police. This is probably a deal breaker for us on whether we ever cruise w/RC again. If we had flown & the bag would've been sent to the air port, then I couldn't say when or where they were taken, but facts are only RC staff had access & did open the bag.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

A little cramped, it only had a small couch. the Balcony only had regular chairs, not reclining or foot rest. Shower was tight. The only electrical outlets were @ the desk. Carpet & especially the couch could've used a good cleaning. It was OK, nothing outstanding.
