We chose this cruise mainly because Celebrity stayed 3 days in Israel, offered a good
itinerary at a decent price considering the superior level of entertainment, service and food. Second reason for choosing Celebrity: we love their lecture programs that are historical, cultural, or just useful (shore excursions). Both of their lectors on this cruise were top-notch. On sea days there were 2 lectures a day; or more, if you count the shore excursion lectures , which were also worth going to. The Director was honest and helpful, not just trying to sell, but inform and serve.
Our 3 days in Israel were the tours of a lifetime with Yossi Kally. You can Google him. He attended a USA college, spoke excellent English, very intelligent, personable, knowledgable . What else could you ask for in a guide? He did a Christian tour with us, but I'm sure he could also do a Jewish tour without a problem.

Perfect. Nice, large, clean, well-laid out. SO nice to have a bathroom with room for everything, with a shower that you can bend over in. Our steward, Melanios, was perfect, smart, personable, helpful. He helped me with getting more pillows, better, cooler AC (so important), more ice for migraines. Thanks, Melanios!
