We flew into San Juan, PR from Nashville, TN the day before our cruise. We arrived about 2:00 p.m. We collected our luggage and got a taxi. The taxi cost $29.00 for 5 of us and all our luggage. We stayed at the Sheraton in OSJ. We were tired and hungry and looking for a place to eat. We wound up at Senor Frogs (I do not rec it) too loud and expensive. When we got up the next morning the Victory was right across the street from our hotel and we could hardly wait to get aboard her. We ate breakfast at La Bombanera, it was fantastic. We had to be out of the room by 11:00 and were debating what to do with our luggage till we could board and then we decided to just walk on down and see if we could get on board. We walked right on the ship. We had VIP boarding, but even our family who did not had a short embarkation process. I highly recommend a carry on with wheels. Inside the cruise terminal was very nice and there is lemonade. In the VIP lounge there are cookies as well. Of course we had to go through security and a metal detector and all that. I think about 12:45 we were on the ship. Yeah! We went to Lido and ate lunch and walked around a bit and before long we could not contain our curiosity any longer and we went to find our cabin "penthouse suite". The room stewards were still cleaning some rooms and the luggage had not been delivered yet, but our room was ready and it was divine. Granite everywhere! Lots of room and a tub not just a shower. Lots and lots of closet space and a refrigerator (tastefully hidden). The balcony had 5 chairs and a table on it, and it was plenty big enough for seven people. Really I do not have any complaints about the ship or the crew. Trying to find our photos every night was chaotic. The Battle of the Sexes was a lot of fun. My Mom won a gift at the Embarkation talk. My husband and Uncle played bean bag toss and they each won a ship on a stick! With so many ports (we did a tour everyday except Dominica) we were worn out and could hardly stay awake for the shows. We did see the illusionist and he was very good! The Halloween party was awesome. We all had a great time and I don't think you could get more for your money than this ship and this itinerary. Where else can you wake up in a different county every morning? What more could you want?

Cabin Review

Cabin 12

7288 a penthouse suite. Very nice and clean. Good location, spacious, really nothing that would take away from the room. Perfect.
