We chose to book this cruise because of the Canada part and especially the two days and overnight in quebec a city we have always wanted to visit. A few weeks after we had made our final payment we were told due to Canada law we would not stay overnight and would only spend one day in Quebec a big disappointment for us we w ere not offered any chance to cancel the cruise at this stage. We thouht that the choice of the menu in the main restaurants had gone down with no more lobster night hardly any salmon or seafood and duck on the menu once.because of this we tried to book some specialty restaurants for the week but were upset to be told that all were sold our for our trip unless we would like to make a 9.30pm or later booking which we did not we did get a cancellation booking after checking every day for 8.15 pm although this was still later than we like what made us cross was when we sat down at 8.15 there were at least six to eight tables empty that stayed empty while we ate. We think maybe the menu limitations in the restaurants is a ploy to get more people to use and pay for the speciality restaurants which was the case on our trip on the jade.We are gold latitude members and have sailed with ncl many times in the mostly without any problems but we think it is now after this trip to look elsewhere.
