We are experienced cruisers of 35+ years who have sailed with most of the major lines, including RCI since 1986 and even the Grandeur out of Baltimore once before. Based on reviews here and other sites, we were prepared for an average cruise, on a ship showing its age and with food and service slipping a lot from even a few years ago. What a pleasant surprise we got. The 9-day Oct 22 sailing from Baltimore turned out to be one our better cruises for general enjoyment and satisfaction.

There are other very recent reviews that cover all of the basics of the Grandeur, so this review will just hit what for us were experiences that may be of interest to others considering the Grand, or cruising out of Baltimore.

Excellent storage and closet. Curtain to close the bed from the rest of the room is a good idea. Under the casino bar back room so trouble with noise on 2 nights (the staff addressed this promptly). vEry convienient location just steps from teh atrium
