This trip, overall, was very nice. The ports we stopped at were enjoyable, the staff getting off and back on the boat were great and made a point of letting you know they remembered you, rather than just treating you like a number. Our main dining room waiter duo helped with everything we could've wanted, and kept reminding us that it was our vacation and we should experience it however we wanted to. Our room was orderly and clean, and the staff was very helpful and quick to provide any additional assistance when requested. My only complaint about the room would be the bed. It wasn't comfy at all, and I ended up with some back issues throughout the trip because of it. The activities on the boat were fine. Not many really caught my interest, but that's personal preference. There was plenty to do and a great variety. This would be rated excellent if not for the experience at the end of the cruise. When we got to Venice, the port was closed for 10+ hours due to fog. This resulted in missed flights for what seemed like the entire ship. When booking flights through Royal Caribbean, they protect you in instances like these (which I HIGHLY recommend doing), so we were told to sit tight and they'd take care of everything. Once we were finally off the boat, there appeared to be 0 preparation at the port for transporting all the people that Royal Caribbean had promised to take care of. There were no lines, the staff outside seemed more confused than the boat passengers, and it took hours before we were on buses and taken to hotels. Royal Caribbean did take care of the cost and booking of the hotel, so again, I recommend going through them to book flights. At 3:45 AM we got a call to our room saying a Taxi would be at the hotel for us in 15 minutes to take us to the airport. We hadn't been sent any new flight information, no warning this would be happening, etc. We were then driven to the airport, told we were booked on a flight, and directed to the line to check in for that flight. We didn't get ot the desk until 10 minutes before take off was scheduled, only to find out we were never actually booked on the flight. At this point we were left stranded until we were able to find a Royal Caribbean employee at the other end of the airport who gave us the emergency travel teams number. Absolutely horrific experience trying to get home, and completely unprofessional with the lack of organization. They had 10+ hours to at least get a system in place to manage this issue better, and literally nothing was done prior to people getting off the boat.

Fantastic cruise until faced with unforeseen circumstances at final destination.

Cabin Review

Cabin 2101
Cabin was fine. It was a little small, and the bathroom was tiny (Hint, the bathrooms for the public areas are much bigger and more comfortable to use!), and the bed was very uncomfortable. The cleaning staff was nice, the room was always kept clean and organized for us while we were out on excursions, and we were never bothered while in our room.

  • Cavtat Walking Tour
This was actually my favorite location throughout the entire cruise. We were given some details while on the bus, then pointed in the right direction in Cavtat and let loose. We were given ample time to explore, shop, etc. and I loved being there.

Walked through old town with a radio guide. The radio was hardly useable, unfortunately, so we just turned them off and followed the group. Very crowded here, but that's to be expected.

  • Olympia Archeological Tour
It was very fun to see ancient Olympia, the ruins, and the statues in the museum. I felt like the time spent at each of the sets of ruins was too long, as we only made it through half of the ruins before our time was up. The museum also had very long descriptions of everything. This might be very interesting for some people, but it made me realize I don't love guided tours through places like this.

  • Mykonos
We only did a transfer through the cruise line for this one. Great place to explore, VERY easy to get lost in all the turns and alleyways. It was fun to get lost, though, and we had plenty of time to make it back to the boat on time.
