We chose this cruise because of the countries that we would be visiting! We had chosen AmaWaterways for our first cruise which was amazing, it was a shorter cruise and we wanted to see if we really wanted to be on a river cruise for the length of time that we booked our Viking adventure!

We chose Viking because of all the advertising and how amazing it sounded, that was our first mistake! We arrived in Prague then took an all day bus trip to Budapest, when you are booking a trip don't spend an entire day on a bus, read EVERYTHING!!!! It was raining when we arrived at the boat, no one offered an umbrella even though they have tons!

We barely met the captain, evidently he does not speak English well, the majority of the crew were only there to do a job, hospitality was in short supply! We did have a few crew members that were actually welcoming. Read more
