Hawaii was nice but the Eurodam itself was the true destination. The ship is beautiful. The food is great. The specialty restaurants are outstanding. The variety and quality of musical venues on Music Walk is wonderful with something for everyone. The dual piano players with Billboard Onboard was my personal favorite. The crew was exceptional from John Scott the captain who entertained us every day with the origin of nautical based expressions such as between the devil and the deep blue sea, Nick the delightful Cruise Director, and all the way down the chain of command. The entire crew was relaxed and happy and eager to help.

I booked the last Alaska cruise of the season and stayed on the Eurodam through Hawaii for a total of 24 days. Anyone who doesn't like to leave home for a 7 day cruise should consider combining these two destinations as a "collector's voyage" some year.
