We chose this cruise due to timing and booked during Hurricane season after many, many quiet years in FL... obviously this was not the case this year so we were re-routed on our itinerary, which turned out to be fine. We also chose to try MSC in Sept because of the desire to NOT be surrounded by lots of kids, as there is usually some sort of kids sail free/cheap program on this line out of Miami that we wanted to avoid.

Embarkation was fairly easy, and early walk off disembarkation was a BREEZE. That was spectacular.

We had the mealtime drink package, but the wine was quite undrinkable (you can buy it wholesale for less than $3 a bottle) and were limited to Heinekin draft for the beer, but since the package was included with our fare it was ok. (We wanted to upgrade our package onboard was it was very cost prohibitive).

Cabin B1

Nice, large Balcony cabin with sofa. Great location near elevator & stairs.
