We chose this cruise because of the ports it offered which were Puerto Rico, St Martin and Labadee Haiti. Due to Hurricane Irma and Maria we realized that the ports would change. After Irma, St Martin was changed to St Kitts. After Maria, Royal decided that only certain sail dates would travel to St Kitts, Jamaica, and Labadee (which we would have preferred) and other sail dates would go to Cozumel, Costa Maya and Nassau (western Caribbean). They did not explain why certain sail dates would get eastern Caribbean and others would get western. They just expected everyone to accept it and offered no reasonable response. The ship we sailed on was an awesome and beautiful ship (Harmony of the Seas) but it alone could not make up for the lack of port destinations. However, the main dining room food was sub par. My wife and I were with 3 other couples and we were all in pretty fair agreement that the dining room food was not great. OMG, the entertainment was cheesy and seemingly thrown together. Grease was the better of all the shows and we would give it a C. The best part of the shows were the live band accompanying them. Columbus was horrible! My wife fell asleep on the ice skating show. The best meal we had was one we paid for at Sabor the Mexican restaurant. The food and service were great. We did Hibachi also and I would suggest if you are going to go on Royal against our recommendation then do not pay for the Hibachi. It is average at best and there seems to be confusion amongst the staff regarding what is included in the prepaid price. You will not be able to say that you were not warned!
The cabin was great. Nice size, clean, nice size bathroom
