We chose this cruise to see an area of the country we had not visited before and to hopefully see the fall leaves change. The original ports were changed but it still ended up an interesting itinerary. The overnight in Quebec was great as we were able to get a good taste of that city. We did a few excursions which I have to say were overpriced for the most part as investigation after the fact showed we could have saved a considerable amount had we elected to do them on our own. The captain was the best one we have ever encountered on a cruise. He was fun, personable and visible ...as was his staff. You could tell they enjoyed working with him. Entertainment was good and service excellent. The captains club activities and benefits were great and appreciated. I would definitely do this cruise again and hopefully get to see Prince Edward Island.
Cabin was plenty big but extremely worn. The sofa was stained and fraying didn't make it very enviting to sit on it. Bathroom was kept clean but again the fixtures were worn and the shower would not keep water from going on the floor. Plenty of storage. We did not have robes which should have been in the cabin ..I assumed it was a change in Aqua policy but found out it was not and we just didn't get them when the cabin was cleaned.
Loved this city, walked to the museums and the majority of sights in the city. Ate at some great places on the wharf.
Spent the day walking around the town and eating lobster. There is a great shoreline walk right off the tender wharf that is beautiful. Had some blueberry pancakes and did some shopping. It rained a little but was mostly nice.
