Sail Date: Oct 2017

This was our first time on Royal Caribbean, we had previously sailed with Carnival three times. Our expectation was that RC would be a nice step up from Carnival, boy were we wrong. Our first stop was to grab a drink before taking off, the bartenders were in complete chaos. We were a little put off by this but also realized that it was busy at the time so we excused the nearly fifteen minute wait for two beers. The buffet lunches were, to put it mildly, disgusting. It was like eating at a $6.99 all you can eat buffet. For breakfast, the dining room was understaffed and took a long time for everything. By the time my food arrived on the first morning, it was cold. The dinner menu was pretty boring and we were extremely disappointed.

Service in our room was poor, one day they never even came.

The overall attitude of the staff was rude. There were a few friendly people here and there but the majority just seemed miserable to be there. The ship seemed understaffed and the staff was overworked.
