This ship lacked quality in food entertainment & service However the Mexcian & Italian add charge restaurants are fantastic We upgraded to balcony room It was filthy! We complained & we were provided a case number & told to contact guest relations once we returned home It took over 2 weeks for guest relations to respond to our complaint Within the complaint I shared the 15 photos I had & they already had the written report from the housekeeping manager I had requested the $300 per person balcony upgrade to be refunded It was a complete disgrace even after it was "fixed Although NCL sends their typical cookie cutter reply, expressing their "heartfelt apology" they were not able to honor our upgrade refund request. BUT.To show "good faith" they offered us each a $175 onboard credit valid for 12 months, can not be combined with any other offers is non-transferable.
Dining: upgrade restaurants such as the mixian and Italian are to die for. Free food tasted like Crisco, was dried out and left much to be desired.
Activities/Entertainments was lacking talent and geared to an older generation. One pool no adult pool.pool was small.
The balcony had globs of hair on the ground, the glass had brown drips and smudges, and the glass was so dirty you couldn't see out of it. Every time we opened the doors the smoke alarm went off. A loud piercing beep for almost an hour before it was shut off. We were told it was due to the humidity outside.? Our sheets were never changed, even after accidentally spilling an entire travel mug of coffee on the bed. Not 1 towel animal until the last night. An empty clearly dirty glass sat on our table for the entire trip. Ice bucket never filled with ice, dust covering every surface, rings around the toilet. and hair on the shower wall. While on the ship we dealt with housekeeping and management regarding our unacceptable filthy room, but it was never really 100% corrected
Will never cruise out of Boston again. NYC is much better
