Our 3rd cruise with NCL, did Dawn and Getaway and can't even compare to Escape.Escape failed in every aspect. Food in main dining room was lacking, we went there twice during 7 days and after that ate either in the buffet or Food Republic (their sushi were amazing so as the views). Desserts on a ship were beautiful but tasteless, red velvet didn't even taste like red velvet. Try green Curry or Meatballs from the same day menu and see what I'm talking about as far as food having a horrible taste.

Entertainment was lacking too. Either nothing was going on for a few hours or everything at the same time. Production shows were horrible, "glee wanna be" we left after 10 mins of watching "After Midnight". Shows, comedy, duel pianos everything required a reservation and when you show up, it's empty and they let you in same time with those who had a reservation. So what's the point in standing in line at the box office to reserve something? The magician was amazing, very funny. He performed a few times and all his shows were "Stand By". We showed up 30 mins before the show to make sure we get a spot, the line already started, but it was a general line, no stand by line and nobody was checking our cards, so everyone went in the same time when the doors opened. Stupid set up.

Howl at the Moon dual piano was AMAZING!!! Fun, entertaining and simply fantastic and you get to see some drunk women falling on the floor because they attempt to dance and fail.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

there were 7 ships in port, we didn't have any reservations, took a taxi to Mr. Sanchos and it was full, then we took a taxi to Playa Mia and they were closed completely, taxi driver didn't know why, so she took us to Paradise Beach and we had a great time, they had inflatable park for the kids for $18.00 pp, beach chair for 3.00 and you were required to spend $10pp, so wasn't too bad.
