We chose this cruise because it circumnavigated Newfoundland. They changed our schedule and eliminated half the cruise and 4 stops AFTER we left port, and no one will answer our emails or phone calls regarding a refund. We spent well over $30,000 on this 12 day cruise and they will not even respond to our inquiry. The menu was nearly all meditteranean and had very little variety and no local fare. The wine list was below par for the price.

The staff, room attendants, bar tenders, waiters, etc were extremely nice.

The shore excursions were cut short due to mass confusion on disembarking, thus getting us off the ship too late for the full itinerary for which we paid. The concierge desk was polite but totally helpless.

Cabin Review

Silver Suite

Cabin SL

The cabin was ok. Very uncomfortable furniture, terrible coffee maker, no TV, fridge too small to hold anything useful. Due to a completely bungled schedule by Silversea, we had several unplanned days at sea and the room, although a large suite, was completely substandard and wildly overpriced.

Port Reviews

Gaspe

Very nice little community but not much to do. Nice historical visit, though.

Quebec City

the town of Quebec and the surrounding area is fantastic. Food, scenery, and local flair is too much to see in just a day or two.
