This cruise offered a number of places in Italy and Greece that we have always wanted to see. The embarkation and debarkation process went very smoothly. We enjoyed all the ports, and it gave us a taste of areas we will want to explore again. The staff on board was friendly and they seemed to enjoy their jobs. There were a number of on board activities that were geared to a variety of age groups. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating for meals, several bars in different locations on board, and a beautiful windowed area at the front of the ship to sit and enjoy the sunsets. The dining rooms offered well prepared entrees, and not enormous portions, so there was always room for dessert. The ship was well maintained and clean. We took three of the tours offered by the ship and booked the others independently. All the tours met our expectations, but the independent tours were smaller and cheaper. I would highly recommend Italy Cruises Private Tours for the ports in Italy. Working with Daniela was a pleasure, and the tours were exactly as described and the drivers very professional. For Greece I would recommend Niki's Olympic Tours. Great guides and itineraries. Also for transfers between Rome and the port I would recommend Bob's Limosines. Again, very dependable, reasonable, and reliable.

The cabin was adequate. The Spirit is an older boat so the cabins seem to be a little smaller than some of their newer vessels, however, it has other things that we really enjoy on the older boats.
