The check in at Southampton was flawless and smooth. We quickly boarded the ship and as usual had to wait for our room to be ready. We were in an inside room overlooking the Royal Promenade and it was good.

The Cruise Director Marc just "seemed to be going through the motions" of his job. We NEVER saw him other than at events, and even then. he was too busy to spend time with passengers. The captain was HEARD at noon and evening announcements., but never seen except at the Captain's Corner. We are used to CD's being out and about and greeting guests, but not Marc. We are used to seeing Captains of the ship in the lounges, but not our captain. This was just a mediocre cruise. Going thru the motions!

Dining was the usual only the beef was just average. No taste, no texture. "Just going through the motions". I cannot tell you HOW many times we have seen that singer who imitates Celine Dion, but she was just average. There were 2 comedians who were good, but the others were flat. The ice skaters were FABULOUS!

Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

Inside cabins overlooking the Royal Promenade are good deal vs. a balcony.
