This was a fun cruise with port stops every day but one. Lovely ship and great ports of call (New York City, Newport RI, Boston, Bar Harbor, Maine, Saint John, NB, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.) It was an easy cruise since it's all in the U.S. and Canada (thus no hassles with foreign exchange or language) but with enough going on (history, gorgeous scenery and walkable towns) to keep cruisers moving and smiling. We'd do this itinerary again, and we rarely choose to visit the same place twice.
The onboard service was excellent (although the Eastern European woman "manning" the coffee bar needs to be relocated. She's way too crabby to deal with before your first cup of coffee). Food was good but it's not Princess' strong suit. We had the "Sip and Sail" deal and loved not being "nickel and dimed" for every latte and diet Coke. The drinks in the bar were excellent and the "small entertainment" (the Wheelhouse Bar and Atrium) was great. The only downside I could see was the Princess Theater is way too small for a ship holding 3500 guests. It looks like it seats maybe 1500 or so. If you wanted to see a popular show you had to stake out your seats far in advance.
Great cabin at the front of the ship. Quiet and roomy.
