We spent 7 days on a cruise on Queen Vic. From Venice to Athens. I knew it was not ther cruise for me when i noticed on the daily activity “Chair aerobics”. Excellent food, excellent staff service and operasrting BUT! Bars mostly empty due to high cost of drinks-but the pub was full every days wplaying darts and cards and trivia. Ballroom dancing each night most popular b it you would not want to go and break out on a dance. Most Aussies wondering why the decks were empty at 10pm.oh and for single ladies they did supply officers to dance with you- looked like they had stepped out of a coffin! So if you want a happy cruise of fun this would not be the one to choose, It seems they are relying on all the Brits who want to practice their ballroom dancing and stay in the pub and play darts. And there are plenty of these so no need to change. Basically a shame as had great expectations for a masquerade ball and 20”s evening- a flop unless you had a partner and did proper ballroom dancing moves. Lack of atmosphere and only highlights were good food and good ports.Oh and 1 good comedy show otherwise just ships entertainment. Shops well stocked with quality. Tried fencing but only 12 people allowed for.
