This was a our 6th "ladies" cruise and we had a blast. We all live in the SF Bay Area and usually take a 7 day cruise out of Long Beach, so leaving from San Francisco was so easy. Embarkation was basically waiting 10 minutes to walk onto the ship after going through security.

The weather in Mexico was hot and very humid, so we didn't spend much time ashore.(this was my 10th trip to Mexico so that was fine with me.) The ship had lots of activities even on port days and the entertainment was wonderful - from the Princess singer and dancers to the piano bar and lounge and pool bands. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, especially the cruise director's staff.

Because we were eight women we had late seating in the Botticelli dining room, where we had outstanding service from our waiter, busboy and Maitre D'. The food was good and the staff was very accomodating (even when we were the last ones in the dining room)

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

We had a balcony on the Caribe deck (always take Caribe on the grand class ships with Princess as the balcony is larger than on Aloha or Baja decks.)

We did find the closet to be small - don't know if it was because we were in the front of the ship. I had taken a Scandanavian cruise with my husband the month before on the Crown Princess and the closet was twice the size. Other than the closet, the cabin was fine.
