We selected this cruise to help my sister and her husband "practice" cruising with their kids for a longer cruise. It was short but a lot of fun!

Embarkation was smooth-we had FTTF. We used Carnival's transfers to get from MCO to the ship. That went smoothly, although the bus's restroom was rather fragrant. The only issue I had was that apparently Carnival hadn't pinged my credit card on file since I'd booked the cruise-in the interim, someone had fraudulently used the card, so I had a new number. This led to an easily-corrected issue at Guest Services a day later, but it would have been nice to have caught it ashore.

Unlike our Liberty cruise in January, they were scanning cards during the muster drill this time. That seems to make things go faster. My wife and I were pretty full of "The Fun Ship" drinks by muster, so that probably helped. Our actual sail-away was delayed 3.5 hours due to a mechanical issue. This changed our itinerary-we'd be overnighting in Nassau after a late arrival.

Cabin 8C

The cabin was excellent. The air conditioning worked well the entire cruise. The bathroom is relatively spacious.

Port Reviews

Nassau

We walked around. I'd say make sure to get an excursion here. The area around the dock isn't a lot of fun, although the people are really friendly.
