We chose this cruise after doing a repositioning cruise on the Silver Spirit in the spring of 2016. On that cruise, we learned about the features of the new ship, and thought it would be a good fit for our family/friend group of 10. Not unexpectedly, there are things we liked better about the smaller ship, and things we liked better about this new ship. We liked the bigger choice of restaurants on this ship, but we missed having a main dining room that didn't require dinner reservations. We thought the pizza restaurant was a great addition, and the pizza was delicious! We loved our butler, who gave us great service! We also liked the large lounge area on deck 5, especially because our cabins were on deck 5. The weather allowed us to enjoy the pool area for sunning, reading, and sleeping, which is one of our favorite things to do while cruising. We loved the beauty of the ports we visited. This cruise was a great experience!
Our cabin was great. I loved all the storage. I liked that this ship's cabins didn't have the vanity at the end of the bed.
We walked a good part of the city, and we enjoyed renting bikes and riding out to the Olympic Park. Montreal is a beautiful, clean city with lots of good shopping downtown.
We took a long walk of the city and ended up at a casual spot (order at the counter style) for lunch called Luke's Lobster. The lobster rolls were wonderful. We also went to the original Cheers bar and had a beer, which was a fun thing to do with our group.
