We wanted a cruise that included Paris and the beaches of Normandy. We spent 3 days in Paris then went on the cruise. The whole experience was excellent. We were met at the airport and driven to the hotel in Paris where a Viking representative gave us a walking tour of the area near the hotel. The next day were taken on a walking tour that, among other things, showed us how to use the Metro and the train.

Our tour guides were very good. Especially the guides in Paris. The guides were informative and in most cases gave us personal attention.

The cruise was wonderful. The various stops were all good. We had a Veranda stateroom. The food and service aboard ship was excellent. We did take advantage of a few of the optional tours. Disembarkation went very smoothly. There were Viking representatives at the airport to help us through the ticketing process .
