This was a birthday celebration for a very good friend turning 50. She chose what she wanted to do. It was the best vacation ever. The cruise staff was amazing, Oliver the Cruise Director was great. My friends were delayed on the way to the cruise and Oliver went out of his way to make sure they got to the ship the next day. Chef Cesar was amazing as well, all of his food was delicious and the late night snacks in the lounge were a nice treat. The rest of the staff from the bartender, Doral, to the servers Bogie and Nicholas made our trip thoroughly enjoyable. My cabin was cleaned twice daily and always on my schedule. The shore excursions were very enjoyable and time to explore each of the town was a nice treat. I met so many interesting people from the UK and the US, it was nice to have a diverse number of guests and even met another family from Wisconsin. The optional cognac excursion exceeded my expectations. I definitely would take another Viking Cruise.
