I chose this cruise to see Havana. Lets start with the ship-it was fine by me and the beds were outrageously comfortable. Room steward kept things spotless. The dining was average, I am not a huge foodie and it was all good to me. However, I don't eat 400 times a day like some cruisers, so maybe I am not as informed about stuff like that. We chose specialty restaurants each night and were pleased except for the Italian choice. I found all the staff to be gracious and willing to assist-very helpful attitudes. Show had amazing talent, but i wished they would have had two shows a night to accommodate more schedules. Other entertainment could certainly be beefed up. This cruise ended up with a lot of people who had had their cruise cancelled due to hurricanes and opted in to this one but who had no desire to go to Cuba-so that changed the clientele a lot. Casino is small and dated but hey, you can still lose money!!! . Room was small but adequate with nice balcony. Our room 0256 was great location to get to dining areas and pool. Gym was awesome-very impressive and we were literally the only ones in there each day. Did not use spa. Tours are so so at this time. Cuba really doesn't have too much to offer yet and what they do have is pedestrian at best(buena vista social club). The nightclub served complimentary drink and snacks and both were disgusting-I'd skip this tour. All in all, I am not a natural cruiser-I don't need to eat and drink non stop, but this cruise served its purpose to see Havana and the staff was terrific on board.
