Great choice of food at Windjammer and staff always going the extra mile to make you cruise memorable, good choice of activities but not the best ships if you have children under 4 years old. Returned to ship after 10 years and couldn't believe how much the price of drinks have increased, cheapest bottle of wine $34 going to $330., bottle drinks you are looking at least $8 for a can of Boddingtons bitter or 500ml bottle of Old Speckled Hen as an example. All drinks have an 18% service change so please budget for this additional cost.
Deluxe drinks package is not built for a light / moderate drinker, budget for nearly £70 per day on your drinks as a couple. A deluxe package for a 14-night cruise will set you back $910 (£685) if you have not managed to have this added to your deal.
Look at booking on another ship of the fleet if you are traveling with young children, any babies or children no toilet trained as unable to go into the pool (no even with swim nappy).
Nice state room and comfortable bed, great location of ship.
Good access and easy to park, friend staff when checking in.
Nice port of call and town hilly.
Only a 15 min steady walk from ship and flat.
Most of the guests complainted about this port, didn't feel safe and couldn't wait to return to ship. Taxi drivers keep cost of trip out to places of interest but rip you off getting back to ship or shuttle bus.
Wish we had a longer stay or an over night stop, lovely place and friendly.
Walking distance to bust town centre and a long drive to find a beach.
Walking distance from ship aprox 25 min walk, make sure you go up on the cable car.
Lovely town and make sure to walking through town to beck on other side of town centre.
Took shuttle bus to La Harve and journey from port to Paris is 2.5 to 3 hours each way.
