The itineraries and destinations were all places that I wanted to see. One of the highlights is actually one of the more simple things though- the scenic cruising days that we would spend on the sun deck sailing past castle after castle in the warm sunshine. Everyone that worked on the ship was amazing and had my name memorized which was awesome. I miss them very much! Don't get me started on the food. I was so spoilt! It was often difficult to choose from the options on the menu because they all sounded good. We loved the complimentary coffee/hot chocolate and cookie station. We often helped ourselves to a nice hot chocolate and cookie then would go back to the room and watch episode after episode of Downton Abbey on the very nice flatscreen tv's. Nicer than the tv in my house! As was the heated floor in the bathroom. I might have enjoyed myself too much. Made a lot of friends. Unforgettable trip.
Gorgeous room, even though we didn't have the huge windows, we were able to use the space as extra storage and we found that we actually had more space than our other family in a French Balcony room. The lighting was lovely and the bathroom was so nice. The lotions and shampoo and conditioner they provided was really good quality and I was glad to have it when I ran out of my own stuff that I packed. The bed was very comfy and there was a mini fridge for our use and plenty of mirrors to do my makeup. I liked the subtle Nordic motifs on the textiles.
