My wife and I watched a video of the new ship at the travel agent and we decided to book.
Embarkation was easy in Malta where we boarded. Room was good and clean, we always book inside cabins as we spend very little time there.
On the first four days I was asked to go to reception every day because they were having problems with my credit card, this was a first for me and I get around, never had a problem before. They will not except that it could be their fault and when I asked to speak to the manager they stop talking and block your card, can you imagine on a liner like this. The message comes over loud and clear " our way or nothing".I did however find out that they have had quite a problem with their system
If you are a foodie this ship is not for you and if you like the shows that follow dinner then forget it.Shows are on the poor side, Opera singer, flamenco dancers, and a magician so happy he is going to make it one day. Performances are repeated twice or three times in one week. I have never seen so many people leave a show. There is a very decent show on board, Cirque du soleil, which you have to pay extra to watch but its worth it.
Staff are mostly good but be prepared for some quite rude ones too.
Room maid at 14105 was spot on and the Indian and Bali gentleman that tend the Sky lounge are the kind of people that make your cruise.
Excursions are on the expensive side and no information is provided to passengers wanting to go their own way. Some other lines do provide info.
In my opinion they are trying to copy another cruise company which I will not mention.
Never again on MSC
