Due to hurricane, title of review is mainly due to not knowing exactly which ports we would be visiting, We ended up in Nassau, Martinique, St. Kitts, Barbados, and Antigua,
We found the food on this cruise in the dining room, as well as the Oceanview buffet to be no better than average. There was one night when I had to return my meal, which I have never done before. I do believe that the quality and choice has diminished for the simple reason is that Celebrity wants you to book a specialty restaurant at an additional cost. Well, these additional costs vary from $35 to $50 per person. To me, these are unacceptable additional costs - no one specialty restaurant should exceed $25 or $30.
Entertainment on this cruise was exceptional - we enjoyed each and every performance. It is very unusual to have a great show every night, and this cruise did just that. If I may just comment on the tribute to Whitney Houston (Ashlie Amber). She is a great performer, but talks too much about how she does wonderful things, which I commend her, but she just never stops (at one point, the orchestra started, and she told them she was not finished her sermon - she is good, but thinks of herself as a diva, which she has yet to earn, The cruise director should have a word or two in this regard, Lounge acts were very good, with emphasis on the group Up and Up - they were fabulous.
Nice cabin with huge balcony. Location of cabin could not be better - near main elevators on deck 12 . Big negative was out of 12 days, hot water only available 3 - some days cold, other days lukewarm.
