We went on the discovery in April on a Caribbean cruise,we had a fantastic time and the food was really good so was the entertainment.the staff were all helpful and polite.so much so we booked it again.but what a disappointment the food was awful it was always Luke warm at best .the breakfast was awful don't know how they cook the bacon but the fat on it was pure white looked as if it had not been cooked at all.eggs were either undercooked or overlooked .we booked for the surf and turf twice because the food in there was good but had to pay to eat in there .at a cost of £25 each.trips were over priced so was the photos.shops were vey expensive could buy cheaper at home .we paid for a large cabin with balcony on deck eight could not fault that or the stewards that looked after them .sorry Thomson will not be going on the discovery again.water was two pound a bottle gin was free.
