Cabin: Penthouse Suite

We had good experience once before with Regent so we invited a third relative. The cabin that was "sold as" very spacious and adequate for a third was NOT. It was cramped and uncomfortable. The couch converted into a bed that was very uncomfortable. three days into the cruise we had to request attention to the mattress...they brought egg crate foam. The Compass Rose dining room food was nothing to write home about and the Settee Marie Italian specialty restaurant was downright bad. Prime 7 and Chartrueuss were excellent. Service in the dining facilities was good sometimes and bad the other. For the most part the excursions were good, but you have to be diligent and read between the lines about activity levels and amount of time stuck on a bus. I think I'm done with Regent..just not sure it's worth the price tag unless you drink ALOT. Oh and don't upgrade just for the butler....it's a "non-event".

Penthouse Suite

Cabin B

Nice for 2 people, but not 3 . Regent should NOT allow this to be marketed for 3. The couch folds into a bed but is VERY uncomfortable and takes up space making it difficult to move around the cabin.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Hotel chosen, Boscolo Exedra was EXCELLENT

Malta (Valletta)

We ended up hiring a taxi to take us around the city. Native driver was the best tour guide.
