Had been wanting to take a New England/Canadian cruise for a couple of years, so chose this cruise because it offered a date that worked for us. We’ve cruised w/this line before and like the size of this ship. Some thoughts:

Embarkation: Not the smoothest we’ve ever encountered. Lots of long lines, and there was a computer snafu, which caused a major back-up for boarding the ship. Rooms were ready early, however, luggage was delivered in a timely manner and no one was left behind!

Ship: Despite the numerous negative comments I’ve read, we thought the ship was in great shape and were commenting on how well the crew maintains it. We saw crew members on their knees, shining brass on bar stools and stair rails; men outside the ship, while in port, washing the windows. Was there some rust on the exterior, here and there?
