This was our first Alaska Cruise, and our 2nd cruise altogether. I chose Holland as I have had previous family and friends use Holland and express how good they are. They were not wrong. From the ease of embarkation to boarding the ship and finding our room was 20 minutes tops. We had a balcony room on level 6 and it had plenty of room for storage, clothing and was nice and clean. Our main room steward introduced himself and I asked if we could have an extra pillow and some blankets for the balcony. I had them in minutes. we used the room service feature several times, including the morning of disembarkation ( I highly recommend you do that. We never had a problem with any of the service on the ship. Everyone was extremely helpful and happy while doing it, which made for a very pleasant experience.

We ate at the MDR sometimes with others, sometimes we choose to eat by ourselves. We tried Pinnacle and Tamarind, both were very good. The Lido buffet was great for lunch and we were lazy and had dinner there one night as well. The Dive-in Burgers were good and the Pizza joint hit the spot as well. No complaints about the food.

The entertainment on board was good. we enjoyed Bingo and Trivia a few times, and love the Music Walk at night. Read more
