The casino offered the worst blackjack payout of any casino I've encountered. They pay 7:6 (16%) instead of the usual 3:2 (50%) for a blackjack.

The food is mostly disastrous. The worst of it can be had in the lido buffet. There are long lines for every station (asian, mex, omelette, etc) because HAL insists on serving each passenger individually rather than you serving yourself. The result is a huge waste of time and a terribly stressful meal. Start with a wait for an omelette, then wait in another line for side dishes. Then, hope you can find an empty seat/table before your food cools further.

The Pinnacle grill for breakfast was just as bad, food wise, but at least you can sit and be waiting on. Read more
